Between Monday 28 November and Thursday 15 December, all ICA members (categories A, B, C, and D, in good standing, will be able to vote for their three (3) preferred candidates to be part of the Programme Commision as PCOM at large members. Newly elected members will join and complement ongoing members of PCOM in 2023. They will serve in the Programme Commission for four (4) years.
We have especially been seeking applications from professionals located in the following regions:
- Africa
- Oceania
- Latin America
- South Asia
- Caribbean
Elections Process
In October, the Programme Commission opened a call for nominations for six open positions, each of which had different requirements. The call for self-nominations period ran for one month between 21 October and 20 November.
We received 9 Nominations for At-large member in PCOM, with 8 nominations put forward for the consideration of the membership. The criteria for the nomination process were that they could only be received from ICA members in good standing, meaning that their membership dues were up to date and that nominees were archivists by profession.
The election will be conducted in accordance with the Constitution which was approved by the Extraordinary General Assembly on 20 October 2021. The following weighting system applies:

All ICA members (in good standing) will receive an email, from the ICA LimeSurvey account, with the voting information. Thus, we invite you on Monday 28 November to check your inboxes (or spam, in case you do not find it there) to cast your vote via LimeSurvey.
Voting closes on Thursday 15 December 2022 23:59 CET.
