In the National Archives of the Republic of Karelia`s Fund is storing a letter, which history runs back exactly 100 years ago and it has not been received by the addressee.
In the documents of the Archive’s Fund 784 of "Special Committee for the Protection of the Murmansk railway at the Office for the construction of the Murmansk railway" ( list 2 , the case of 1/3) there is a letter of a German prisoner of war Robert Schultz , who worked on the construction of the Murmansk railway. The letter to his father who lived in Emden* (Germany) . The letter was written July 26, 1916.
