Committee on the Archives of Science and Technology
The Committee on the Archives of Science and Technology (CAST) exists to encourage and foster better communication among archivists and the producers of archival material pertaining to contemporary science and technology in order to better capture, preserve and make available these materials. Its activities include organizing events and creating resources to enable international, inclusive, and proactive exchanges around the theme of scientific archives.

Between 2016 and 2021, CAST organized three workshops on scientific archives. Programs of each workshop – Heidelberg (2016), Washington, DC (2018), and Hamburg (2021) – are available at the bottom of the page.
Committee on Preservation and Access to Scientific and Research Data (Active 2007-2011)
This committee was the successor to the Science Technology and Medicine Archives Sub-Committee and completed its charge in 2011.
