The European Regional Branch of the ICA is one of the largest entities within ICA, bringing together over 900 members. It aims to support its members through the dissemination and promotion of archival best practice both in Europe and beyond. Following a highly successful general meeting during the Rome conference last year, it was decided to hold a number of public lectures aimed at further dissemination of European projects and initiatives. The second of these lectures will be held virtually on Thursday 7 September 2023 at 14.00 CET (Paris time)

Safe Havens for Archives at Risk 

The lecture aims to shed light on the value and potential use of human rights archives, explaining the role of the Safe Havens for Archives at Risk Initiative in contributing to securing and protecting human rights documentation in fragile and unstable contexts.
