The International Council on Archives (ICA) is excited to announce the New Professionals Programme 2025! We are looking for emerging leaders in the archival and recordkeeping profession to join this prestigious program.
Key Details
- Opportunity: New professionals from around the world will be selected to attend and present at the ICA Barcelona 2025 Congress.
- Benefits: Participants will receive a mentor, a conference buddy, and be part of an international cohort of new professionals. You will also engage with leaders in the archival field and contribute to a group project aimed at supporting the global new professional community.
- Who We’re Looking For: We are searching for the next generation of leaders in the archival and recordkeeping profession who are passionate, motivated individuals with a commitment to advancing the field of archives and recordkeeping. If you have less than 5 years of work experience, including internships, this is your chance to make a mark on a global stage.
Scope
- Global Impact: The selected new professionals will work together to create and implement a group project that fosters and supports the new professional community across the globe.
- Languages: Applications are accepted in English, French, or Spanish. While fluency in English is not required, good working proficiency in the language is essential for participating fully in the program.
